Her professional journey began as a video coordinator at CBS Sports in New York City. When she was working for WTVJ-TV, Miami, she was awarded an Sports Emmy. Also, she worked for WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993, as ESPN2 was launched in the year 1993, she was one of the anchors who first joined it.
